About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain cloud-native solutions using AWS services, with a focus on serverless architectures.
• Build and improve RESTful APIs using AWS services such as API Gateway, Lambda, and ECS.
• Contribute to front-end development using JavaScript frameworks for the custom cloud management portal.
• Assist in the implementation of infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform.
• Participate in coding, testing, and debugging of both back-end and front-end components.
• Help maintain and optimize existing cloud resources and applications.
• Assist in implementing and maintaining cloud security best practices.
• Contribute to the automation of cloud operations via CI/CD pipelines using GitLab.
• Collaborate with team members on code reviews and troubleshooting.
• Support cloud cost optimization efforts through monitoring and analysis.
• Continuously learn and stay updated on the latest cloud and web development technologies and best practices.

Requirements

• 0-2 years of experience in cloud computing and full-stack development.
• Strong foundation in computer science principles and software development.
• Hands-on experience in Python for back-end development.
• Experience with front-end development using JavaScript frameworks such as Vue.js, Angular, or React.
• Basic understanding of AWS services including Lambda, ECS, DynamoDB, RDS, S3, SQS, and Event Bridge.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, preferably GitLab.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Preferable certifications: AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner or relevant entry-level cloud certifications.

Nice to Have

• Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform.
• Experience with cloud security best practices.
• Knowledge of cloud cost management and optimization.
