Key Responsibilities

  • Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure and advanced log management platforms, leveraging Elastic Stack and Cribl.
  • Develop and implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and configuration management.
  • Automate log ingestion, processing, and analytics workflows.
  • Design, develop, and enhance Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
  • Design cost-effective solutions and services, ensuring that value is measured, tracked, and realized at key delivery points.
  • Advise on log data strategy, ingestion optimization, and platform performance.
  • Develop tools and processes to improve team workflows and customer experience, including dashboards, alerts, and observability automation.
  • Document products, processes, and tools with a high degree of clarity and quality.
  • Support software engineers in aligning with the software delivery lifecycle and DevOps best practices.
  • Maintain effective communication with cross-functional teams, serving as a key stakeholder in project decisions.
  • Stay current with cloud computing trends and observability technologies, offering strategic recommendations.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience with log management tools such as Elastic Stack and Cribl; experience with Splunk is a plus.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience designing, deploying, and managing solutions in Microsoft Azure for medium to large-scale applications.
  • 5+ years of experience administering Windows or Linux server environments, with a strong focus on Linux in Azure-based infrastructures.
  • Advanced proficiency with at least two of the following languages: Bash, Python, JavaScript, Go, NodeJS, Java.
  • Experience scripting for log pipeline automation is a strong plus.
  • Expertise in automation using tools like Ansible, Terraform, or Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates; PowerShell scripting experience is a plus.
  • Proficiency with container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes (particularly Azure Kubernetes Service - AKS); OpenShift experience is a bonus.
  • Familiarity with serverless and event-driven architectures in Azure, including Azure Functions and Event Grid.
  • Proven track record of building, optimizing, and scaling CI/CD frameworks, especially using Azure DevOps.
  • Deep understanding of security and networking principles in a cloud-native Azure environment.
  • Experience working in an Agile, fast-paced DevOps environment; familiarity with SAFe and Azure DevOps Boards is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive troubleshooting approach.
  • A curious, innovative mindset with a willingness to explore and implement new technologies.
  • Ability to deliver excellent customer service, collaborate effectively with peers, and build trust across teams.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective cross-functional collaboration.
  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Fluent in English.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Splunk.
  • OpenShift experience.
  • Familiarity with SAFe and Azure DevOps Boards.
  • Experience scripting with PowerShell.
