Cloud Software Engineer

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend software solutions primarily using Python.
• Design, implement, and manage cloud-based services and infrastructure, preferably on GCP.
• Build and optimize MLOps pipelines and Gen AI applications, including RAG and Multi Agent Applications.
• Utilize ML workflow orchestration tools such as Airflow and Kubeflow.
• Implement container management solutions using Kubernetes and Docker.
• Automate deployment and infrastructure management using scripting languages like Bash and PowerShell.
• Apply Infrastructure as Code practices with tools like Terraform.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and efficient solutions.

Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a similar technical discipline.
• 3+ years of experience as a backend software engineer in Python with strong software engineering skills.
• 2+ years of experience with Cloud Engineering and Cloud Services.
• Experience with MLOps and Generative AI, including LLM, RAG, and Multi Agent Applications.
• Proficiency with ML workflow orchestration tools such as Airflow and Kubeflow.
• Advanced knowledge of object-oriented and functional programming languages like Python and C/C++.
• Experience with DevOps tools such as Jenkins and Tekton.
• Experience with cloud services, preferably GCP services like Vertex AI, Cloud Functions, and BigQuery.
• Experience with container management solutions like Kubernetes and Docker.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash and PowerShell.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform.

Nice to Have

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or related field.
• Experience working with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), especially GKE and Terraform.
• Knowledge of programming practices such as Paired Programming and Test Driven Development.
• Understanding of software craftsmanship practices.
• Ability to quickly learn new technologies.
• Experience applying agile practices to solution delivery.
• Strong team orientation with excellent communication skills.
• Self-starter attitude with the ability to identify bottlenecks and develop innovative solutions.
