Currently operating in the United States and Canada, Just Energy serves both residential and commercial customers. Just Energy is the parent company of Amigo Energy, Filter Group Inc., Hudson Energy, Interactive Energy Group, and Tara Energy. The company is seeking a Commercial Structuring Analyst to support commercial pricing analytics, profitability, and growth in North American electricity and natural gas markets, working closely with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Design, maintain, and troubleshoot Gross Margin reporting and analytical models in Excel and SQL.
Create processes and reports to track post-sale commercial activities such as Add/Delete and Material Adverse Change.
Build processes and checks to identify data integrity issues or leakage, and develop resolution plans.
Work closely with IT Systems and developers to ensure calculation logic is accurately reflected in automated pricing engines.
Interact with Sales, Supply, Load Forecasting, IT, and Risk teams on in-depth cross-functional investigation or research projects.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative analysis or related field.
Excellent analytical skills.
Strong Excel modeling and VBA skills, and fluency in SQL querying and development.
Experience with developing advanced pricing and analytical models and risk management related to retail energy is a plus.
Strong business acumen, attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and data-driven decision-making capabilities.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Well-organized and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
At least 2 years of relevant wholesale or retail energy experience.

Nice to Have

Experience with developing advanced pricing/analytical models and risk management related to retail energy.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative analysis or related field.
2 years of relevant wholesale or retail energy experience.
