About the Role

The Community Engagement Coordinator will work with the Community Engagement/Community Health team to develop outreach strategies, particularly related to the Hispanic community. The role involves designing and executing public facing events to increase awareness around health issues impacting the community, acting as a health advocate and interpreter for Spanish speaking individuals at these events.

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in strategy sessions with Community Engagement/Community Health team
  • Participate in public facing events, providing education and engagement with community members
  • Provide translation for Spanish speaking individuals at community events
  • Facilitate and emcee events designed to reach Hispanic community

Requirements

  • High School diploma
  • Work Experience in community outreach, corporate health, or community health for 2 years
