Creative Services Assistant

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Plans and develops local commercials and promotions, including researching ideas and writing scripts.
• Produces programs as an editor, videographer, and/or audio/lighting specialist.
• Edits videotape and creates graphics for post-production.
• Assists in repair and upkeep of studio and production sets and properties.
• Participates in the design of video graphics, titles, music, and the creative look of shows.
• Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• BA or BS degree in TV/Radio Production with an emphasis on Television Production or related experience.
• Related experience may be substituted based on years of experience and evaluated by company management.
• Working knowledge of TV production techniques and extensive experience with automation.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Production Suite (Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop, Audition, Illustrator, Media Encoder).
• Proficiency in all SONY A series cameras and experience in running a full studio switcher for in-studio lifestyle shows.
• Ability to lift, set up, and operate equipment weighing up to 75 pounds.
• Valid driver's license and good driving record.
• Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and some holidays.

Nice to Have

• Experience in creating and editing video graphics, titles, and music.
• Knowledge of TV graphic design methods and techniques.
• Knowledge of TV production set design principles and techniques.
• Knowledge of broadcast programming concepts and techniques.
• Ability to make creative decisions independently.

Qualifications

• BA or BS degree in TV/Radio Production or related experience.
