About the Role

Join an agile, fast-paced team building mission-critical websites that support our clients' needs and make a direct impact on the Nation's mission. As a Cyber Software Engineer, you'll help drive strategic goals through daily tactical objectives, transforming complex problems into innovative, simple, yet elegant solutions. Collaborate with team members in daily scrum meetings and work on projects of national importance in a dynamic environment focused on Cyber Operations and national security. The role offers opportunities for professional growth, team building, and participation in cyber events and training, including Capture the Flag activities and certification courses.

Key Responsibilities

You'll be part of a multi-faceted team of computer operators, SMEs, and system experts with a joint task of developing web-based systems that improve efficiency, usability, automation, and standardization for our client
Your strong interpersonal skills and ability to understand user requirements will enable you to deliver innovative solutions to the design and build of new web applications
Research, analyze, prioritize, problem solve, and work several tasks concurrently with minimal supervision
Be a self-starter and integrate into a multi-discipline team, taking a team-based approach to solving complex problems
Explain and document technical requirements and design in a manner understandable by both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Work in a high-impact, busy office environment and collaborate effectively in an open, team-oriented setting

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical discipline (e.g., Computer Science, Computer Engineering)
Minimum of 10 years' experience in a relevant technical field to software engineering
Active TS/SCI clearance with required polygraph
Development of applications in Python
Experience with SQL
Experience with Windows and Linux operating systems
Proficiency in JavaScript/HTML
Ability to understand user requirements and design corresponding solutions
Demonstrated experience leading teams and guiding customers through change management initiatives

Nice to Have

Front end development using angular.js
Knowledge of cyber operations
Familiarity with methods of protecting and safeguarding equities
Background with Scrum or another similar Agile project management methodology
Experience with Ansible or other infrastructure management tools

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical discipline
Minimum of 10 years' experience in a relevant technical field
