We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cyber Software Senior Engineer with a strong background in cyber capability development and integration, supporting multiple programs within the IWSS organization. The role involves full systems engineering processes focused on cyber capability development, including requirements analysis, design, development, integration, testing, and delivery of cyber solutions for Linux-based tactical systems.

Key Responsibilities

Support the full scope of the systems engineering process with a focus on cyber capability development and integration.
Develop and analyze requirements for cyber capabilities.
Create capability design documentation and assist in product selection.
Develop, integrate, and perform regression testing of cyber capability solutions.
Deliver cyber capability solutions to IWSS program's Linux-based tactical systems.
Collaborate within an Agile Cyber Product Team supporting multiple programs.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field.
2+ years of related professional experience or a related Master's Degree with no experience.
Proficient in Linux command line and troubleshooting.
Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and systems engineering.
Willingness to learn security engineering concepts related to Security+ or CISSP certification.
Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance at the Secret level.
Ability to travel up to 10%.

Nice to Have

Advanced degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field.
Security+, Linux+, or CISSP certification or similar.
Experience with agile development methodologies and DevSecOps practices.
Knowledge of cloud technologies and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
Programming skills in Java, C++, or Python.
Experience with automation tools and scripting languages such as Ansible, Bash, or PowerShell.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent (implied by degree requirements).
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field.
