About the Role

This junior role supports a high-visibility national security mission by assisting in the development of data analytics solutions and contributing to agile development projects. It offers an opportunity to join a dynamic team and support a high-impact mission by providing data analytics and development support. The position is with Lockheed Martin, a leading aerospace and defense company focused on cyber, artificial intelligence, and machine learning to stay ahead of emerging threats and opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in the development of data analytics solutions for a national security mission.
Contribute to agile development projects within the team.
Support software design, development, testing, and debugging efforts.
Work with Linux and Unix operating systems to develop and troubleshoot software solutions.

Requirements

TS/SCI w/Poly clearance.
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/education, with 2 years of professional experience; or no experience required with a related Master's degree.
Exposure or experience as a Software Engineer with knowledge assisting in software design, development, testing, and debugging.
Familiarity with programming languages such as Java.
Knowledge of the Agile Development Process.
Experience with JIRA and Confluence.
Experience with Gitlab.

Qualifications
