Lockheed Martin, Cyber & Intelligence invites you to step up to one of today's most daunting challenges: the evolving threat of cyber warfare. As a cyber security professional at Lockheed Martin, you'll protect the networks that our citizens and the world depend upon each minute. Here, you'll work with cybersecurity experts on the forefront of threat protection and proactive prevention. The position involves participating in the External Referral Program with potential incentives, including a referral bonus and sign-on bonus. The role focuses on system development, deployment, and evolution of mission-critical SIGINT systems, analyzing signals of interest, designing software modules for advanced signal processing, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful integration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide SIGINT Development (SIGDEV) analytic support to optimize and develop assigned customer accesses, ensuring effective signal processing and intelligence gathering.
  • Analyze module/model output from signals of interest to facilitate the creation of follow-on processing, enhancing the overall effectiveness of signal interpretation.
  • Design and implement software modules in MATLAB or similar design suites to process signals of interest, ensuring adherence to performance and accuracy standards.
  • Develop novel approaches for utilizing Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) and Government Off-The-Shelf (GOTS) systems to create processing solutions beyond their intended use, optimizing resource utilization.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including systems engineers and analysts, to gather requirements and ensure the successful integration of software modules into broader systems.
  • Maintain thorough documentation of design processes, algorithms, and software implementations to facilitate knowledge transfer and project continuity.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 20 years or more of professional experience.
  • Considered an expert, authority in discipline.
  • Possess all capabilities as defined by the GG Statement of work (SOW) Appendix B for the USG standard SWE labor category level 3.
  • Must possess the requisite security clearance and polygraphs to apply to this position.

Nice to Have

  • Demonstrated experience coding in C/C++ and Python.
  • Experience with Software-Defined Radios (SDRs), specifically REDHAWK/RFNext, GNU Radio, or similar platforms.
  • Strong background in RF signals analysis and SIGnals DEVelopment (SIGDEV).
  • Familiarity with development suites such as MATLAB or X-Midas for signal processing tasks.
  • Ability to design, develop, and implement systems within a Unix/Linux environment.
  • Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration of applications.
  • Strong understanding of DSP principles, with a background in satellite communications system design.
  • Familiarity with time and/or frequency geolocation technologies.
  • Experience with C++/Python-based signal processing tools and libraries.
  • Knowledge of GPU/CUDA development for performance optimization.
  • Experience with message queue implementation and communication protocols.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Adaptability and a commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
