Data Analyst - San Juan, PR

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement effective and strategic reporting and analytical solutions to enable data driven decisions
• Evaluate and present information in a manner that will facilitate clients understanding of the results and impacts
• Manage relationships with key business partners of across marketing/sales groups
• Demonstrated ability to lead large/complex reporting/analytics projects, effectively gather requirements, probe for deeper understanding, and translate deep technical concepts to non-technical as well as technical senior stakeholders, marketing customers, and data analytics teams
• Build/review complex visualization solutions, data files/extracts, and deliver insights to clients
• Develop, implement, enhance, maintain existing Data visualization solutions
• Operate independently and produce results as a self-motivated professional
• Apply solid data visualization and/or data analysis acumen
• Collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders using interpersonal influence and collaboration skills
• Communicate effectively across many levels of an organization, including verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency in English and a written proficiency assessment will be required after application

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in data analytics/business intelligence or related experience
• 2+ years of experience in Power BI
• 2+ years of experience utilizing SQL
• Experience with analysis, programming, and reporting with a solid understanding of data storage structures
• Experience interpreting large sets of structured and unstructured data and find/fix consistency errors
• Experience in developing automated reports, dashboards, and visualizations to present complex data in a clear and meaningful manner
• Proficiency in data analysis, including data manipulation, statistical analysis, and data visualization
• Proficiency in tools such as Excel, SQL, and data visualization software (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
• MS Proficiency (Advanced)
• Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and work effectively in a team environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate findings and insights to stakeholders
• Availability to work from Monday to Friday, during business hours
• English Proficiency

Nice to Have

• Hands-on experience in designing and developing data pipelines, data integration, and ETL processes
• Experience in Healthcare industry
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R for advanced data manipulation and analysis
• Skills in advanced statistical analysis, predictive modeling, or machine learning techniques

Qualifications

• Experience in data analytics/business intelligence or related field
• Experience with Power BI and SQL
• Proficiency in data visualization tools and data analysis techniques
• Advanced MS Office skills
