About the Role

The Data Scientist role at Maersk involves performing data analysis, building data pipelines, designing and monitoring machine learning models, conducting A/B testing, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. The position is based in Bengaluru or Pune and requires a strong analytical skill set to deliver actionable insights within a diverse and inclusive workplace environment.

Key Responsibilities

Perform exploratory data analysis and various data analysis
Build robust data pipeline jobs
Design, implement and monitor Machine Learning models
Conduct A/B testing
Collaborate with cross-functional teams

Requirements

Proficiency in Python
Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field
Strong proficiency in data analytics and statistical analysis
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to deliver actionable insights
Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams

Nice to Have

Proficiency in PySpark and SQL
Master's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field
Experience building interactive dashboards by e.g. Dash or Streamlit
Experience with a code-based data orchestration framework such as Airflow, Luigi, Dagster or similar
Knowledge of MLOps
