About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Manage, mentor, and grow a team of ML engineers, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous learning.
• Direct the design, development, and deployment of ML models-including GenAI models-ensuring technical rigor and business relevance.
• Partner with engineers, product managers, and business stakeholders to define project goals, scope, and success metrics.
• Ensure the scalability, reliability, and security of ML systems in production environments.
• Oversee the evaluation and optimization of model performance, including accuracy, latency, and resource efficiency.
• Stay current with advancements in ML and GenAI, and guide the team in adopting best practices and emerging technologies.
• Collaborate with leadership to define and implement ML strategies, roadmaps, and long-term vision.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation to ensure successful delivery of ML initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience leading ML teams and delivering complex ML projects in production environments.
• Deep expertise in ML frameworks such as scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, and spaCy.
• Proficiency in Python and familiarity with modern ML development workflows.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Familiarity with generative AI models (e.g., GANs, VAEs, transformers).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Demonstrated success in cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder engagement.

Nice to Have

• Direct experience as a manager in a previous role.
• Experience with Generative AI.
