About the Role

Infosys is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Developer with expertise in Java and Microservices architecture to join our dynamic development team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building scalable, high-performance backend systems using modern Java frameworks and cloud-native principles. You will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining microservices that power mission-critical applications. Candidate will design, develop, and maintain scalable and resilient microservices using Java (Java 8/11/17+), Spring Boot, and related frameworks. Implement best practices in software engineering, including CI/CD, automated testing, code reviews, and clean code principles.

Requirements

Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Richardson, TX or be willing to relocate to the area.
Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution, or three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
At least 2 years of experience in Information Technology.
Highly skilled in Programming and Proficient in Java Programming.
In-depth understanding of Data structures and algorithms.
Strong experience with Core Java, Spring, Spring Boot, Spring Batches, Spring Cloud Streams, and RESTful API development.

Nice to Have

Proven expertise in designing and deploying microservices-based architectures.
Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration using Kubernetes.
Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
Proficient in version control systems like Git and tools like Maven, Gradle.
Experience with cloud platforms like AWS (Preferred).
Exposure to DevOps tools (Jenkins, Terraform, Harness, etc.).
Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment.
Capable of adapting to modern technologies and learning new tools and applications.
Good communication, interpersonal skills, self-motivated, and team player.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution.
Three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
