About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, integrate, test, deploy, and support enterprise-level applications.
• Perform development and testing activities, including automation and manual testing, based on sprint needs.
• Deliver projects using Agile software development methodologies.
• Design and implement complex enterprise integrations with industry-standard technologies.
• Participate in the day-to-day activities of the development team.
• Build and maintain a test automation suite.
• Support planning activities such as impact assessments, level of effort analysis, and developer task assignments.
• Conduct and participate in detailed design reviews and validate that the design follows the approved architecture.
• Conduct regular code reviews to ensure best practices are being followed.
• Deliver knowledge transfer sessions to onboard new development team members.
• Participate in on-call production support rotation.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, driving them to resolution.

Requirements

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in design, implementation, and production support of Java/J2EE applications.
• 2+ years of experience with Spring Framework (Spring Boot).
• Experience with relational databases such as DB2 and Postgres, and SQL.
• Experience with web services, Apigee, Selenium, and JavaScript.
• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field, or equivalent working experience.
• Strong technical and analytical skills with the ability to analyze system functionality and resolve production issues.
• Experience applying Object Oriented Analysis and Design principles.
• Practical experience designing and building enterprise and/or distributed systems.
• Ability to work well under pressure, with tight deadlines and ambiguity.
• Experience with systems and software architecture.
• Willingness to learn and work in a team environment.
• Technical leadership and effective communication skills.
• Change leadership and ability to work across silos.
• Deep curiosity to learn about new trends and topics.

Nice to Have

• Hands-on Selenium development for test automation.
• Experience with Apigee, Shell Scripting, Autosys, Angular, JavaScript, AWS.
