About the Role

The Developer - Software Engineer II role at SSi People involves collaborating with a full-stack development team to create reliable software solutions, developing and maintaining multi-tenant SaaS applications, engaging in Scrum practices, mentoring junior engineers, and integrating AI/machine learning models into the software stack for supply chain solutions. Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with a full-stack development team to create reliable software solutions.
Develop and maintain multi-tenant SaaS applications for new and existing capabilities.
Engage in Scrum ceremonies and contribute to team standards and best practices.
Mentor junior engineers and partner with product managers to solve user problems.
Integrate AI/machine learning models into the software stack for supply chain solutions.

Requirements

Proficiency in Java or Python.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
5+ years in software engineering with a focus on data engineering and backend development.
Experience in agile development, particularly Scrum, with data engineering expertise.
Quick learner with a knack for developing innovative solutions to complex problems.

Nice to Have

AWS Cloud Practitioner or Associate Certification.
Experience with public clouds and infrastructure-as-code.
Expertise in debugging and improving application performance.
Advanced level SQL and scripting.
Manufacturing and/or Aerospace experience.
Experience with data-intensive applications.
Familiarity with in-stream data processing technologies like Apache Kafka or similar technologies.
