About the Role

The Development Program / Project Manager at Navitaire, an Amadeus company, is responsible for overseeing and managing a series of development projects aimed at reinvesting in the future of Navitaire. This role involves executing end-to-end program and project management activities, including project plans, scoping, requirements, and reporting on deliverables through all phases. The position offers a hybrid work environment, requiring presence in Salt Lake City or Minneapolis 2-3 days a week, and provides an opportunity to make a significant impact in the travel industry with a global company committed to innovation and diversity.

Key Responsibilities

Manage a program that consists of multiple complex initiatives spanning one or multiple lines of business
Provide leadership for the project teams by building and motivating team members to meet project goals, responsibilities, and milestones
Manage all aspects of projects to ensure they are aligned and support the achievement of strategic business objectives
Work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment demonstrating teamwork, innovation, and excellence
Provide status reporting regarding program and project milestones, deliverables, dependencies, risks, and issues, communicating across leadership
Manage program and project scope and change
Understand interdependencies between technology, operations, and business needs
Own and develop excellent working relationships with crucial Navitaire, Amadeus, and Accenture teams
Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

Bachelor of Science or Arts degree
Minimum 5 years of experience leading, motivating, and managing various project and program team sizes, including internal and external resources
Experience presenting to executive sponsors and strong communication skills, both written and oral, to all levels of management
Proven ability to work in an ambiguous environment and collaborate across multiple areas to achieve a common business objective
Intermediate level of Microsoft Office tool capabilities: Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, PowerPoint, Visio, and Word
Knowledge of ServiceNow, Azure DevOps, and Power BI is a plus
Knowledge of airline or travel industry
