Key Responsibilities

Multitasks, prioritizes and meets deadlines in timely manner
Maintain regular and predictable attendance
Support and troubleshoot production applications, plan and coordinate software deployment and testing
Develop and maintain software tools to improve workflows
Work with developers to identify potential operational issues with software and workflows before production release
Coordinate software and application deployments and testing in various environments
Investigate and resolve escalated customer problems via Tier-2 production tickets
Evaluate existing processes for inefficiencies and develop new processes to enhance functionality, reliability, and operation of production systems
Apply DevOps thinking to increase speed, efficiency, and quality of product delivery
Support and maintain Microsoft Azure Cloud applications
Contribute to the support and maintenance of cloud applications
Develop automation tools to improve workflows and processes
Support company initiatives, policies, and procedures
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external vendors to bring software to market
Support innovative medical devices and components in alignment with strategic plans

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Computer or Software), Computer Science, Information Technology, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience in a related discipline or 7+ years of equivalent IT experience
Minimum 3 years of work experience supporting production releases
Good understanding of software development, software releases, testing, and database management
Strong analytical, problem solving, and project management skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to support and troubleshoot production applications
Experience with supporting software deployment and testing in various environments
Knowledge of automation, scripting, and system administration activities
Understanding of virtualization and container technologies (Docker, AKS/Kubernetes, etc.)
Experience with REST APIs
Knowledge of security checks in CI/CD pipelines
Experience managing vendor relationships
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Nice to Have

Good understanding of modern, cloud-centric architectures and microservices
Experience working in a Medical Devices field or heavily regulated environment
Knowledge of cybersecurity and cloud computing
Ability to work within a highly matrixed and geographically diverse business environment
Experience with tools such as Terraform, Git, Gitlab, Azure DevOps
Experience with Waterfall, Agile, and DevOps development methodologies

Qualifications

7+ years of IT experience or equivalent
3+ years supporting production releases
Experience supporting cloud applications and automation tools
