About the Role
The DevOps Engineer role involves working with cloud infrastructure, automation, and networking to support deployment and operational efficiency. The position is based in Dallas, TX, requiring onsite presence five days a week, and is a full-time role with Mphasis. The high-level job description emphasizes expertise in cloud services, infrastructure as code, and networking, with additional preferred skills in scripting, observability, multi-region deployment, and container orchestration.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and implement cloud infrastructure using AWS and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, AWS CDK, or CloudFormation).
- Configure and maintain networking components within cloud environments.
- Support deployment pipelines and automate infrastructure provisioning.
- Collaborate with teams to ensure system reliability and performance.
Requirements
- Experience with AWS cloud provider.
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, AWS CDK, or CloudFormation.
- Strong networking skills.
Nice to Have
- Python/Linux scripting experience.
- Experience as a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) or with observability tools.
- Multi-region or hybrid cloud deployment experience.
- Knowledge of container orchestration tools like Kubernetes or ECS.
