DevOps Engineer

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Design, construct, and support DevOps infrastructure that meet organizational IT requirements.
• Design DevOps strategy and implement DevOps development processes.
• Implement Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, Dependency Management, and Application Infrastructure.
• Automate end-to-end deployment and CI/CD processes using the Azure DevOps toolset.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex problems within the DevOps environment.
• Integrate DevOps processes with Application Performance Monitoring Tools (e.g., Dynatrace).
• Analyze existing DevOps processes and identify areas for improvement.
• Work closely with internal development teams and external agencies to provide DevOps leadership and solutions.
• Analyze, solve, and correct issues in real-time, providing end-to-end problem resolution.
• Refine and automate regular processes, track issues, and document changes.
• Provide 24x7 support for critical production systems.
• Perform scheduled maintenance and support release deployment activities after hours.
• Share domain and technical expertise, providing mentorship and cross-training to team members.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related fields.
• Minimum 4+ years of experience using Microsoft Azure DevOps.
• Experience with CI/CD tools, container technologies, and writing builds in YAML scripts.
• Proficiency with Azure Repos, branching, code review, and code analysis tools.
• Strong hands-on expertise in DevSecOps concepts and tools, especially on Azure DevOps, Pipelines, GitHub, and GitHub Actions.
• Experience with KeyVault and Microsoft Azure services.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and Azure Container Registry.
• Good knowledge of PowerShell scripting.
• Experience with REST APIs and consuming from .NET Technologies and PowerShell.
• Knowledge of Azure Databricks, Azure Machine Learning Service, and monitoring/logging solutions on Azure.
• Expertise in Azure Functions.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and coding skills.
• Experience with failover, high availability, disaster recovery, and business continuity.
• Troubleshooting abilities related to connectivity issues involving firewalls, load balancers, and proxies.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and customer service orientation.
• Effective communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to work collaboratively, independently, and take initiative.
• Experience working with Windows Server, including Active Directory.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Azure DataBricks and its architecture/framework.
• Experience with Azure Machine Learning Service.
• Familiarity with Azure Functions.
