Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the creation and support of pipelines that automate production systems and ensure consistent builds.
  • Help development teams deploy services quickly and ensure code is properly tested.
  • Assist platform teams in building and deploying infrastructure without needing traditional admin access.
  • Set technical standards, create tools, and support innovation in both on-premises and cloud environments.
  • Maintain central and distributed code repositories, develop repository hierarchy, and ensure role-based access.
  • Work with teams to migrate code and configurations to standard repositories.
  • Develop and maintain user documentation, FAQs, branching standards, and templates.
  • Develop application CICD pipelines, frameworks, and templates for testing and deployment into non-production and production environments.
  • Tune pipelines for efficiency, reliability, and scalability.
  • Mentor other DevOps engineers and developers.
  • Troubleshoot incidents, identify root causes, and implement preventative measures for pipeline and automation services.
  • Help manage and maintain pipelines and automation services in accordance with security and compliance standards.
  • Lead and coordinate cross-functional team triage during critical incidents.
  • Develop and implement DevOps operational metrics and participate in work planning activities.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of progressive engineering experience developing solutions and participating in large-scale initiatives.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with DevOps/DevSecOps services and practices including CICD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Bamboo), blue-green deployments, canary testing, code scanning, and infrastructure as code (Terraform).
  • 2+ years of experience with IAM, certificate, token/key management, secure parameters, and code scanning tools.
  • 2+ years of experience with containerization and orchestration platforms such as Docker, Kubernetes, AKS.
  • 2+ years of experience using Agile development methodologies.
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience with AWS, GCP, or other public cloud environments.
  • Proficiency with scripting languages including Python, Bash, Go, and/or PowerShell.
  • Deep understanding of ITIL practices and processes.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication, teamwork, facilitation, and negotiation skills.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or related discipline, or equivalent experience.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with regression suite enablement.
  • Experience with cloud-native development and microservices architecture.
  • Familiarity with security best practices in cloud environments.
