DevOps Engineer

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and refine CI/CD workflows using GitHub Actions and Argo CD.
• Manage Kubernetes clusters, optimize resource allocation, and troubleshoot networking and security configurations.
• Develop Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Helm, Ansible) for scalable and secure environments.
• Implement and optimize service mesh solutions such as Istio for traffic management.
• Automate security compliance and enforce best practices for containerized applications.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior DevOps engineers and new team members to support their onboarding and professional growth.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in DevOps, software development, or cloud automation.
• Extensive hands-on experience designing CI/CD pipelines that integrate testing, security scanning, and automated rollbacks.
• Advanced knowledge of Kubernetes, including workload scheduling, cluster networking, and persistent storage management.
• Expertise in Infrastructure Automation with Terraform, Helm, and Ansible, including developing reusable modules and automating system configuration.
• Hands-on experience implementing Istio, Linkerd, or Consul for traffic shaping, observability, and security enforcement.

Nice to Have

• Exposure to managing multi-cluster Kubernetes environments.
• Experience with Blue-Green, Canary deployment strategies, and Feature Flagging concepts (e.g., LaunchDarkly, Unleash, Flipt).
• Ability to work closely with software engineers to improve build/deploy efficiency.
