Devops Engineer

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with developing execution plans for DevOps projects, including roadmaps and project schedules, and define inter-dependencies between software disciplines.
• Collaborate with DevOps team members to maintain various scripting languages used for software building and deployment tailored to specific use cases or clients.
• Maintain automation test infrastructure environments.
• Keep track of issues and improvements in the lab.
• Continuously assess the overall health of various test beds and develop tools to monitor the status and health of each setup.
• Engage in opportunities to develop new skills through hands-on training, continuous education, and exposure to DevOps pipelines, release engineering, and security.

Requirements

• Proficiency in CICD and scripting.
• MS in Computer Engineering, MS in DevOps, or equivalent years of industry experience with a Bachelor of Science in an engineering discipline.
• Successful experience working in a DevOps data center alongside developers.
• At least 1 year of educational or equivalent work experience in DevOps methodologies.
• Exposure to DevOps build infrastructure and tools such as GitHub, Git Actions, Visual Studios.
• Working knowledge of Linux and Windows-based services.
• Excellent analytical skills.

Nice to Have

• 1 year of DevOps experience in RF, Digital-related projects.
• Exposure to IC-related software product development.
• Familiarity with software development and Agile methodology.
• Experience with DevOps build infrastructure tools such as QT Code Coverage, GCC, CMake, Coverity, Artifactory, Jira, Visual Studios, Docker.

Qualifications

• Educational background in Computer Engineering, DevOps, or related field
• Industry experience in DevOps methodologies
