Job Description

About the Role

The DevOps Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure to support seamless software deployment and integration. The role involves collaborating with development, QA, and security teams to ensure efficient and secure release processes, leveraging modern DevOps tools and practices. The position requires hands-on experience with containerization, orchestration, and cloud services, primarily focusing on automation, system performance, and architecture decisions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Architect end-to-end CI/CD pipelines with modern toolchains.
  • Define release strategies and automation governance.
  • Integrate secure artifact management and build pipelines.
  • Work with QA/dev/ops teams for seamless deployments.
  • Lead release audits and optimize for rollback and traceability.
  • Collaborate with dev, QA, and security teams; drive architecture decisions.
  • Mentor team members and contribute to DevOps best practices.
  • Integrate microservices with Kafka for real-time data streaming and event-driven architecture.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely manner, ensuring optimal system performance.
  • Keep up-to-date with industry trends and advancements, incorporating best practices into development processes.

Requirements

  • 8 years of hands-on experience in Spinnaker, Jenkins, Docker, Helm, GitLab CI, Nexus/Artifactory, Kubernetes REST APIs, Docker, Kubernetes.
  • Experience with architecting end-to-end CI/CD pipelines.
  • Define release strategies and automation governance.
  • Solid understanding of AWS services, including EC2, Lambda, S3, and RDS.
  • Experience with Kafka for building event-driven architectures.
  • Strong database skills, including SQL and NoSQL databases.
  • Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.

  • Good to have TM Vault core banking knowledge.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
