About the Role

Our client, a leading technology firm, is seeking a DevOps Engineer to join their team. As a DevOps Engineer, you will be part of the IT department supporting agile development teams. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and effective communication skills which will align successfully in the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Provide leadership and technical expertise in collaboration with agile development teams.
Facilitate and enable automated software and data configuration, integration, and deployment.
Deliver on time without defects while achieving subject matter expertise quickly on new applications.
Collaborate with software engineers to mature their DevOps processes and tool usage.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues in non-production and production environments related to the DevOps tool chain.

Requirements

3+ years of hands-on DevOps experience with tools such as GIT/Bitbucket, Jenkins, and Ansible.
Experience in application development and operating environments including Linux/Windows Server, Java, and Python.
3+ years of hands-on experience with Containers on Kubernetes/OpenShift.
Strong analysis and problem-solving skills for problem determination and resolution.
Proven track record in project delivery in an agile environment; experience with JIRA is a plus.

Nice to Have

Experience with JIRA.

Qualifications
