DevOps Engineer, Senior

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, support, and manage container management software to meet client needs.
• Use cloud technologies to improve client environments with container orchestration.
• Support strategy and design for containerization processes, ensuring standards are met.
• Recommend resources to help clients manage and securely adopt containers.
• Support the development of critical cloud platforms and strengthen DevOps skills.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience working with deploying cloud resources on AWS.
• 3+ years of experience with building and supporting DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines.
• 3+ years of experience with containerization, building images, and orchestrating deployments on Kubernetes with Helm, including writing custom Helm charts.
• 2+ years of experience with automation tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
• 2+ years of experience with infrastructure-as-code deployments, including with Terraform.
• Knowledge of container networking, monitoring, and storage solutions.
• Knowledge of container security technologies and evaluating and mitigating or resolving vulnerability findings.
• TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph.
• Bachelor's degree.
• Ability to obtain a Security+ CE, SSCP, CCNA-Security, CISSP or GSEC Certification within 6 months of hire.

Nice to Have

• 2+ years of experience with Kubernetes deployment orchestration tools such as ArgoCD or Flux.
• Experience with developing in Java or Python.
• Experience with Prometheus, Grafana or ElasticSearch, Kibana, and FluentD.
• Experience with the design, deployment, and management of Cloud environments, including AWS or Azure.
• Experience with using or migrating CI/CD pipeline solutions or tools, including Jenkins, Git, or TeamCity.
• Experience with system integration using protocols such as JSON, REST, and XML.
• Experience with scripting in Bash, PowerShell, Python, Groovy, or Ruby, and leveraging JSON, YAML, or XML for configuration.
• Knowledge of Linux or UNIX administration and automation.
• Knowledge of foundational system administration principles.
• Kubernetes Certification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree.
• TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph.
• Ability to obtain specified security certifications within 6 months of hire.

• Total compensation includes salary, which ranges from $77,600 to $176,000 annually, depending on various factors.
