About the Role

DevOps Engineer needed for a 18-month W2 contract supporting product engineering and cloud automation projects, with a focus on MongoDB platform buildout. The role involves automating configuration, deployment, and support across multiple versions using tools like Ansible, Terraform, and MongoDB Ops Manager. This position is based in Jersey City, New Jersey, with a hybrid work arrangement requiring 3 days onsite per week.

Key Responsibilities

Support product engineering and cloud automation projects.
Automate configuration, deployment, and support across multiple versions using Ansible, Terraform, and MongoDB Ops Manager.
Work on a platform buildout of MongoDB.

Requirements

7+ years of DevOps Engineering experience.
Hands-on experience with Terraform, Ansible, and Python.
Background supporting large enterprise environments.
Knowledge of CI/CD processes.

Nice to Have

Experience with MongoDB provisioning and administration including sharded clusters, replication, performance optimization, LDAP connect with role based access.
Experience with MongoDB Ops Manager automation and API.
Experience with MongoDB Atlas.
Experience with MongoDB JSON scripting.
