About the Role

The role involves hands-on experience with Bitbucket, AWS services, and managing CI/CD pipelines to ensure efficient development and deployment processes. The position plays a key role in automating infrastructure, improving system reliability, and enhancing the development lifecycle, supporting a client project in Alpharetta, GA with onsite work three days per week. Must be able to obtain a Security Clearance.

Key Responsibilities

Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines using Bitbucket and associated tools to automate the software development lifecycle.
Manage and monitor cloud infrastructure on AWS (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, etc.).
Ensure the scalability, security, and reliability of applications by leveraging AWS services and infrastructure as code (IaC) tools.
Collaborate with development teams to streamline code deployment and ensure smooth integration into production environments.
Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and deployment issues across development, staging, and production environments.
Continuously monitor and improve system performance, security, and availability.

Requirements

Strong experience with Bitbucket, Git, and version control systems.
Solid knowledge of AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, etc.).
Expertise in CI/CD pipeline automation using Jenkins, GitLab, or similar tools.
Experience with infrastructure automation tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and container orchestration.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
Good understanding of monitoring and logging tools (e.g., CloudWatch, ELK stack).
