DevOps Lead

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Interface with key stakeholders and apply technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle.
• Participate in requirements elicitation, application architecture definition, and design.
• Create high-level design artifacts.
• Deliver high-quality code deliverables for modules.
• Lead validation for all types of testing.
• Support activities related to implementation, transition, and warranty.

Requirements

• Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Richardson, TX or Tampa, FL and be willing to relocate to the area.
• This position may require travel to project locations.
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution, or three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 4 years of Information Technology experience.
• At least 4 years of experience in DevOps and developing pipelines.
• Experience with standard tool-chains & common platform-services using Jenkins, GitLab, Python, OpenStack, and AWS.
• Experience in building & deploying Enterprise Applications with Docker Enterprise & K8s.
• Proficiency in Linux, Python, OpenStack.
• Experience with Lean / Agile development methodologies.

Nice to Have

• Experience in developing CI-CD pipelines, standard tool-chains, and common platform-services for OpenStack, AWS & K8s based pre-prod & prod environments with GitLab, Jenkins, Docker Enterprise & Python.
• Experience in building & deploying Enterprise Applications with Docker Enterprise & K8s.
• Experience with Lean / Agile development methodologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution.
• Three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
