About the Role

Taoti is looking for a Digital/Social/Content guru to drive engagement for their venue business and create compelling content across various platforms. The role involves a mix of content creation, social media management, website polishing, paid listings, and newsletter marketing, with an emphasis on spontaneous, authentic content that aligns with the company's casual and humorous tone. The position is based in Washington, DC, and requires a creative, high-energy individual who is comfortable working in a social environment and experimenting with AI tools.

Key Responsibilities

Create and post engaging content including photos and videos using basic tools like Canva and CapCut.
Develop and implement social media strategies to increase engagement and drive traffic to the venue business.
Polish and update the company's website and paid listings to optimize visibility.
Monitor and present metrics to inform future content and strategy decisions.
Participate in events outside of regular hours, including evenings and weekends, to capture content and manage social media takeovers.
Generate creative ideas for content and marketing initiatives that align with the brand's casual and humorous tone.
Experiment with AI tools to improve content creation and efficiency.

Requirements

Ability to produce spontaneous, authentic content that reflects a casual/tongue-in-cheek tone.
Comfort with taking photos and videos on a phone and editing basic graphics/videos with tools like Canva and CapCut.
Understanding of social media platforms and metrics to inform content strategy.
High-energy personality with a big, natural presence that comes through in content.
Willingness to work in-house at the Washington, DC office, with occasional evening or weekend work for events.
Interest in experimenting with AI tools to enhance content creation.
Ability to learn on the job and take initiative in content development.

Nice to Have

Experience with paid social media advertising and listings optimization.
Basic knowledge of website management and SEO.
Familiarity with analytics tools and presenting data insights.
Creative skills in videography, photography, or graphic design beyond basic tools.

Qualifications

Experience in social media content creation and management.
Proficiency with basic graphic and video editing tools like Canva and CapCut.
