Key Responsibilities

  • Define and socialize the product vision, strategy and roadmap in collaboration with the 5-in-the-box team; assess and refine as needed.
  • Establish Epics or initiatives aligned to strategic programs and deliver upon the product strategy.
  • Partner with the business general manager (GM) and stakeholders to make decisions on investment priorities and develop business cases.
  • Translate customer and business needs into short-term and long-term product strategy by creating initiatives/epics defined to meet targeted outcomes.
  • Connect the roadmap to specific value drivers that contribute to business priorities, objectives and key results, and strategic programs.
  • Responsible for aligning roadmaps, backlogs, capacity, timelines, and commitments across the respective product areas needed to deliver.
  • Facilitate agile ceremonies & meetings, including PI Planning, in partnership with the product leadership team.
  • Define epics, features & partner with respective product owners to define user stories, identify dependencies, and work with teams to size ahead of future quarters.
  • Use performance data to establish feedback loops to continuously develop new insights and hypotheses about product health.
  • Track product OKRs to understand progress towards outcomes and KPIs, socialize progress, and reinforce objectives and alignment.
  • Coordinate product launches, including beta testing, user feedback collection, and product documentation.
  • Set the direction and provide continuous feedback for discovery work, ensuring the product team is focused on exploration.
  • Partner with market and customer insight teams to understand needs.
  • Showcase the product teams' delivery and final output to stakeholders.
  • Communicate progress, insights, and risks across the business with key stakeholders.
  • Lead the 5-in-the-box cross-functional team, including partnership with business General Managers.
  • Understand hiring market to identify successful candidates.
  • Champion strong product management and agile mindsets, and establish high performing teams.
  • Promote a customer-centric culture where teams monitor and react to key product health metrics.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience as a Product Manager, Program Management, or Project Management with a focus on product strategy, vision, and roadmaps.
  • 5+ years of experience in software product management, successfully shipping software through multiple releases in an agile environment.
  • 3+ years of experience with back-end applications and/or APIs.
  • 3+ years of experience coaching, mentoring, or leading a team.
  • 5+ years of experience building and managing technical product teams using Agile framework.
  • 5+ years of experience with large-scale modernization programs in a technical capacity.
  • Education: bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.

Nice to Have

  • Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) experience.
  • Ability to drive cross functional teams to alignment amid ambiguity.
  • Strong negotiation, organizational, management, analytical and people skills.
  • Data-driven decision making and quantitative analysis skills using data tools such as Jira.
  • General understanding of core programming and computer science concepts, including Cloud and AI/ML.
  • Advanced oral and written communication skills, influencing stakeholders across levels.
