Direct Marketing Program Manager

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Develop marketing strategies for specific customer and/or product lines within direct mail and digital channels.
• Accountable for marketing and profit & loss of the Direct Marketing team product lines: term life, travel accident, and guaranteed issue whole life.
• Formulate campaign strategy, plan, organize, and implement marketing initiatives to reach growth and profit goals.
• Conduct thorough analysis of customer segment insights to identify key demographics, preferences, and behaviors.
• Utilize data-driven insights to understand customer needs, pain points, and opportunities within each segment.
• Develop and implement targeted marketing strategies for customer segments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align marketing strategies with overall business objectives.
• Partner with the direct marketing team to develop and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns, including direct mail and digital initiatives.
• Utilize marketing automation tools to analyze campaign results and optimize performance.
• Establish KPIs to measure campaign success and analyze performance for course corrections.
• Develop campaign proformas for leadership review and approval.
• Work with Data Analytics, Audience Selection, and Mail Operations teams to validate new programs and creative changes.
• Communicate segment insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
• Conduct campaign kickoff and retro meetings to review results and educate stakeholders.
• Provide creative direction and develop direct mail tactics with agencies, ensuring brand alignment and compliance.
• Implement campaign executions, including new and existing initiatives.
• Assist in preparing annual marketing strategies, business plans, budgets, and sales reports.
• Maintain awareness of industry regulations and competitive environment impacting programs.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business, or a related field preferred.
• 5+ years of proven experience in relevant marketing roles.
• Experience with direct mail and digital marketing channels.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret quantitative and qualitative data.
• Insurance marketing experience is a plus.
