Key Responsibilities

  • Own and evolve Vestwell's brand platform, including naming conventions, messaging architecture, visual identity, tone of voice, and narrative frameworks across lines of business.
  • Build a Brand strategy that differentiates Vestwell from competitors and positions the brand as the leader in workplace and public savings innovation.
  • Architect and manage the strategy for Vestwell's owned content ecosystem—including newsletters, event series, blog, and social content platforms.
  • Lead the editorial strategy and oversee execution of search-optimized, insight-driven content that grows organic traffic and nurtures engagement across the funnel.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to build always-on storytelling engines that reinforce brand pillars and product benefits.
  • Lead the planning and execution of integrated brand campaigns across digital, social, paid, and earned channels—with a sharp focus on performance and impact.
  • Build and scale brand moments that build equity and drive pipeline, from sponsorships and influencer content to large-scale thought leadership campaigns.
  • Partner with Comms, Product Marketing, Growth, and Channel teams to ensure message alignment and amplification.
  • Set clear goals, KPIs, and feedback loops to measure brand performance across awareness, consideration, engagement, and organic visibility.
  • Lead, grow, and inspire a high-performing brand and content team—including internal resources and external creative partners.
  • Manage brand budget and resource allocation across programs, freelancers, and campaigns.

Requirements

  • 7-10+ years' experience and proven track record of success in brand management, marketing, or related roles, preferably in the fintech or financial services industry.
  • Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to translate business objectives into actionable brand strategies and initiatives.
  • Self-starter who can operate well in a collaborative team environment and adapt effectively to changing business priorities/strategies.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
  • Expertise in, and hands-on experience with, corporate branding positioning, brand messaging and marketing communications with the ability to drive, implement, and operationalize the brand strategy in a matrixed, consensus-driven environment.
  • Strong understanding of marketing campaigns, editorial content, and analytics and how they work together to inform decisions that affect the brand.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and influence cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Creative thinker with a passion for innovation and a keen eye for design and visual aesthetics.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive results, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in the fintech or financial services industry.
  • Experience with brand building through storytelling, campaigns, and activations.
  • Knowledge of social media platforms, content management, and digital marketing tools.

Qualifications

  • Relevant professional experience of 7-10+ years in brand management or marketing roles.
  • Proven success in developing and executing brand strategies.
