Bayer is investing in its Digital Analytics capabilities within the US Pharmaceutical Data Science and Customer Insights team to support key growth products in Bayer's US Pharmaceutical portfolio. The role involves expanding an industry-leading in-house digital marketing analytics function, translating data into insights and actions to maximize strategic investments, and working collaboratively across teams in a highly collegial and innovative culture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide cross-functional teams with actionable insights to optimize the effectiveness and efficiency of digital marketing tactics and campaigns within core digital channels: website, email, search, banner/display, social, video/TV, and out of home/point of care.
  • Collaborate with in-house digital media, digital strategy, digital ops, and data solutions teams to oversee measurement operations, guiding tagging/tracking strategy & process, measurement planning, and KPI setting.
  • Leverage analytical techniques within and across marketing channels to deliver rapid, actionable, and comprehensive insights to establish cross-channel best practices, inform marketing/media optimization, and guide customer and channel strategy.
  • Oversee the design, execution, and analysis of pilots and A/B and multivariate tests for media, targeting, and content/messaging to ensure interpretable and actionable results.
  • Identify opportunities for analyses that establish data-driven best practices and evangelize results across brand marketing and strategic stakeholders.
  • Translate analytics into actionable insights and recommendations, communicating clearly to leadership and tactical teams.
  • Collaborate with and direct external media and analytics partners to coordinate supplemental analytics studies and broader data integrations.
  • Work closely with Digital Media, Digital Strategy, Advanced Analytics, Insights & Analytics, and Commercial Data Solutions teams to ensure communication and activation of analytics-driven insights.
  • Integrate seamlessly with Insights & Analytics team members to add a digital perspective to business insights reporting and support analytics efforts outside digital.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Minimum of 12 years of relevant, full-time work experience.
  • At least 7 years of relevant experience in digital marketing, media, and/or analytics and optimization.
  • Expertise with digital analytics and media platforms, particularly Google's media & advertising platforms.
  • Experience measuring, mining, and generating insights from digital customer engagement data within digital channels: website, email, search, display, social, video, and out of home/point of care.
  • An optimization mindset with experience leading testing and analysis across digital channels, including paid search keyword and bidding optimization, precision audience targeting models, and content/messaging testing.
  • Expertise in measurement operations across digital channels to ensure data is appropriately tagged and tracked for analysis.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with operational and strategic teams.
  • Experience partnering with and managing external partnerships to support media and analytics efforts.
  • Strong understanding of statistics, statistical design of experiments, and advanced analytics & modeling approaches, including familiarity with data warehouse mining/reporting and data manipulation tools (e.g., SQL, R, SAS).
  • Strong attention to detail, intellectual curiosity, and a passion for media and technology trends, including use of AI.
  • Excellent project management skills with focus on timely delivery.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.

Nice to Have

  • MBA or relevant graduate degree.
  • Experience with analytical coding languages, such as SQL, R, or SAS.
  • Experience in U.S. Pharmaceutical industry.

Qualifications

  • Educational background includes a Bachelor's degree; advanced degrees such as MBA are preferred.

  • Salary between $175,349.60 - $263,024.40, with potential bonuses or commissions.
