About the Role

As a leader within the Fairview Creative Studio, the Integrated Creative Director has primary responsibility to lead and inspire a team of digital creatives and content makers in the development and production of creative assets in support of Fairview brands, businesses, partnerships, facilities, and key initiatives focused on internal and external audiences and stakeholders. This role involves shaping and executing the organization’s visual identity, marketing strategies, and creative execution across various platforms, including Digital Media, Video, Social, Events, Collateral, Presentations, and Signage. The Creative Director reports to the Chief Marketing Officer and works closely with the Marketing Director and Manager of Marketing Operations to foster a high-performance creative culture and build effective relationships with internal and external partners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and inspire a multi-disciplinary team in producing high-quality, innovative visual, digital, and written creative content that aligns with the organization’s business goals and brand strategy.
  • Concept, produce, and deliver breakthrough work and ideas, with proficiency in digital-first creative approaches.
  • Ensure consistency and alignment with Fairview's brand, voice, and values across all creative deliverables and channels, including print, digital, video, social media, signage, and internal/external communications.
  • Manage and mentor a diverse team of integrated, multi-channel creatives, providing constructive feedback and fostering continuous learning and growth.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Marketing, Communications, Digital, Patient Experience, Recruitment, and clinical services to develop creative solutions supporting business objectives and enhancing engagement.
  • Lead the development, production, and execution of multi-channel creative campaigns targeting internal and external audiences, including overseeing video production, digital assets, print materials, event activation, and signage.
  • Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to evolve the organization’s creative direction, incorporating Human-Centered Thinking and Design Principles.
  • Oversee creative project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation to ensure timely and within-budget delivery of high-quality materials.
  • Measure the impact of creative assets on key performance metrics and adjust strategies to improve engagement and outcomes.

Requirements

  • B.S. / B.A. in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Marketing, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
  • 7 years of experience in a creative leadership role, preferably within healthcare or healthcare marketing.
  • Proven success leading and managing a digital-first creative team.
  • Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.) and other design tools.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing, social media platforms, and content creation for online and offline channels.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong conceptual thinking with a keen eye for design, detail, and storytelling.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills.
  • High emotional intelligence and ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders, including Senior Leadership.
  • Proficiency in Project Management tools (Asana), Asset Management Tools, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint, Outlook).

Nice to Have

  • Work experience of 10 years related to creative leadership.
  • Understanding of healthcare marketing principles and patient-first approaches.
  • Proficiency in video production and editing software.

Qualifications

  • Educational background with a B.S. / B.A. in relevant fields or equivalent experience.
  • 7+ years of experience in creative leadership, preferably in healthcare or related industries.
