About the Role

The Director of Product, Growth position will report to the Chief Product Officer. This role involves driving experimentation on product funnels, defining and executing strategies to engage and nurture customers, partnering with engineering, data, and marketing teams, launching new products, developing APIs and embedded experiences for growth, and leading a small team of Product Managers. Key Responsibilities

  • Drive experimentation on product funnels to optimize performance and maximize customer loan origination.
  • Define and execute a product strategy to engage and nurture customers not yet ready to become clients, based on customer insights.
  • Partner with engineering, data, and marketing teams to ensure a strong foundation for testing, personalization, and funnel optimization.
  • Drive engagement and cross-sell from existing customers as new products are launched.
  • Develop APIs and embedded experiences to facilitate growth from partner channels.
  • Lead and develop a small team of Product Managers as a player/coach.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience launching and growing successful consumer digital lending or fintech products.
  • 2+ years of experience leading a team of Product Managers.
  • Experience optimizing online customer acquisition funnels across multiple channels and products.
  • Experience growing engagement from existing customers and cross-selling/monetizing that engagement.
  • A data-driven philosophy influencing build and pivot decisions.
  • Deep experience setting up, running, and measuring A/B tests.
  • Ability to manage and optimize a testing roadmap based on opportunity size, customer insights, data analysis, and learnings.
  • Experience integrating martech infrastructure to enable growth through marketing and sales channels.
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with sophisticated testing methodologies such as contextual, multi-arm bandits.
  • Experience launching growth features or freemium offerings from 0-1.
  • Experience partnering closely with marketing teams to open new distribution channels.
  • Experience building embedded product experiences with partners.
