Key Responsibilities

  • Advocate for the needs of our guests and serve as a go-to person for insights and strategic direction related to digital traffic and merchandising performance, leveraging data to improve the eCommerce funnel from shopping to purchase.
  • Analyze customer on-site and app behavior to identify issues or opportunities and create recommendations for future optimizations.
  • Analyze data from Ulta's digital channels using tools such as Adobe Analytics and Google Analytics, and design dashboards and visualizations with Google Data Studio and Adobe Analytics Workspace to support better business decisions.
  • Partner with the Digital Optimization team for conversion rate optimization strategies and offer testing support, contributing ideas based on digital data analysis and helping to build testing roadmaps.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners by providing insights on personalization initiatives to enhance the guest shopping experience on site and app.
  • Work with Strategic & Digital Analytics team members on complex analytical projects, linking digital interactions with offline data signals.
  • Translate data into clear, concise, business-friendly presentations that deliver actionable insights and present findings to various audiences.
  • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert to other teams to promote the adoption and use of digital data in decision-making.
  • Work cross-functionally to enhance customer experience, product assortment, and marketing strategies.
  • Measure, analyze, and report on event, category, and brand performance in partnership with Digital Merchandising and Merchandising Strategy teams.
  • Partner with key brand teams to provide insights about their digital business.
  • Create and share presentations about results, insights, and recommendations.
  • Challenge the status quo and seek innovative solutions outside traditional approaches.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Business Analytics, Mathematics, Merchandising, Marketing (with a quantitative focus), or related field.
  • 2+ years of relevant analytics experience with specialization in digital analytics.
  • Experience working with digital and eCommerce data within Retail, CPG, Travel & Hospitality, Financial, or related industries.
  • Experience with Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, MS Excel/PowerPoint, and/or Tableau preferred.
  • Ability to manage multiple project schedules and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills and ability to drive digital data usage across the organization.
  • Ability to see the big picture and relate findings across various analyses.
  • Strong curiosity, storytelling skills, attention to detail, and self-motivation.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Google Data Studio and Adobe Analytics Workspace.
  • Experience in retail, CPG, travel, hospitality, or financial industries.

Qualifications

  • Educational background with a focus on analytical or business-related fields.
  • Relevant experience in digital analytics and eCommerce data analysis.

  • Salary range of $66,200 to $86,000 per year, with potential for additional compensation through bonuses.
