About the Role

Working as Full-time eCommerce Project Analyst, you will be responsible for the oversight for the EDI/punchout integration projects between Fastenal and our customer's procurement systems. This includes cross-departmental coordination (eCommerce Sales, National Accounts, Government, Information Technology and Regional Vice Presidents/District Managers/site personnel) as well as direct contacts with key stakeholders within our customers. This position may offer a flexible schedule after a period of onboarding, training, and meeting performance goals.

Key Responsibilities

Overseeing EDI/punchout integration projects
Executing project meeting expectations and defined timelines
Assessing integration requests to vet systems capabilities
Identifying solutions to enhance customer's Procure-to-Pay process
Coordinating IT/Marketing resources for integration projects
Facilitating communication between all parties to ensure timelines and goals are being met
Providing ongoing optimization by identifying efficiencies and solutions for existing integrations

Requirements

Possess a degree in Computer Science, Marketing, Business Administration or other related field of study OR have at least 1 year of Fastenal work experience
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite
Highly motivated, self directed and customer service oriented
Demonstrate strong organization, planning and prioritizing abilities
Exhibit strong problem solving, deductive reasoning and decision making skills
Demonstrate strong math aptitude, attention to detail and sense of urgency
Learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
Work independently as well as in a team environment
Willingness to work a flexible schedule

Pass the required drug screen (applicable in the US, Puerto Rico and Guam ONLY)

Nice to Have

Prior work experience in sales, customer service, project management and/or technology

Qualifications

A degree in Computer Science, Marketing, Business Administration or related field OR at least 1 year of Fastenal work experience
