About the Role

NBCUniversal is one of the world's leading media and entertainment companies, creating and distributing world-class content across film, television, streaming, theme parks, and consumer experiences. The company owns and operates major entertainment and news brands, including CNBC, NBC News, MSNBC, NBC Sports, Telemundo, Bravo, USA Network, and Peacock. This role involves working with CNBC's Personal Finance and Strategic Content teams to verify data for the annual Financial Advisor 100 ranking, ensuring accuracy and quality of content, and supporting related story editing. The position is based at CNBC Headquarters in Englewood Cliffs, NJ, and is a short-term, hybrid role with a focus on editing, fact-checking, and content review.

Key Responsibilities

Verify the accuracy of data provided by RIA firms for the Financial Advisor 100 ranking by making phone calls, sending emails, and reviewing SEC data.
Review and ensure the content and style of advisor entries are accurate and consistent.
Work with the Personal Finance team to edit stories related to the FA 100 launch and its sponsored special report.

Requirements

Strong editing skills with an eye for detail.
Strong organizational skills.
Comfortable working with multiple teams and independently.
Must be a strong copy editor and fact checker.

Nice to Have

Experience with fact-checking and content verification.

Qualifications
