About the Role

Mach is the principal automated trading system for the EFX group. Starting more than a decade ago, MACH has seen considerable expansion, with steady and significant increases in trading volumes and PnL contributions for State Street. EFX comprises an enthusiastic global development team who develop, support and maintain a meshed based platform that trades automatically from Sunday to Friday on a follow the Sun basis. This system is very large, with thousands of client connections, automated trading strategies and componentry to operate. The role involves developing high performance code, supporting the system, and having a good understanding of FX trading products and strategies.

Key Responsibilities

Developing new functionality alongside peers within the global team who have a history of consistent frequent delivery.

Requirements

10+ years' experience working as a developer.
5+ years' experience working as a developer in automated trading systems.
Knowledge of FX Spot, Swap, Forwards, and eNDF.
Fundamental understanding of large distributed systems.
Proven experience in performance computing.
Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
Ability to communicate effectively across all lines of the business.

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science degree or similar.

Salary range of $130,000 - $205,000 annually.
