About the Role

Infosys is seeking a Java Developer with experience in Elastic Search, Kafka and Microservices. In this role, you will interface with key stakeholders and apply your technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture knowledge and Design. You will play an important role in creating high-level design artifacts, delivering high quality code, leading validation, and supporting activities related to implementation, transition, and warranty. The position encourages teamwork, collaboration, excellence, diversity, and learning culture. Candidates must be located within commuting distance of Atlanta, GA, Research Triangle Park, NC, San Jose, CA, or be willing to relocate, with potential travel to project locations.

Key Responsibilities

Interface with key stakeholders and apply technical proficiency across different stages of the SDLC including requirements elicitation, architecture, and design.
Create high-level design artifacts and deliver high-quality code for modules.
Lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition, and warranty.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address integration needs.
Guide implementation teams across multiple time zones through technical solution deployment.
Work in a team environment with diverse stakeholders and participate in a global delivery model.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution, or three years of progressive experience in lieu of education.
At least 4 years of experience in Information Technology.
Hands-on experience in Elastic Search and Kafka.
Experience in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices.
Good debugging skills and focus on code coverage and unit testing.
Ability to interact effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Experience with Agile Scrum methodology.
Willingness to develop high-quality code quickly and go the extra mile.
Experience in development and deployment to private/public cloud environments and DevOps.
Ability to perform a techno-functional role, understand requirements, and collaborate with IT Architects.
Ability to guide implementation teams and work in a diverse, multi-stakeholder environment.

Strong analytical capabilities.
Experience building complex systems involving high volumes and high performance/throughput.
Prior exposure to development and deployment in cloud environments.
Eagerness to learn new technologies and product skills.
