About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership in developing software for the XSP Platform in the telecommunications domain.
• Work with Java design patterns, including factory pattern and chain pattern.
• Perform application monitoring and logging using ELK and Prometheus.
• Perform application deployment using Jenkins, Docker, and Concourse.
• Use JUnit for testing and Git for storing code.
• Utilize CI/CD deployment tools, including Cloud Foundry and AWS platform.
• Use Azure, WebSec, and SAT for authentication and API security.
• Create plugins using Gradle and Maven.
• Enhance frameworks using AWS S3 and Lambda.
• Support and customize applications under development and assist with software updates and roll-outs.
• Analyze, test, and assist with integration of new applications.
• Document all development activity, including technical requirements, design, evaluation, and test results.
• Research, write, and edit technical documentation and reports.
• Monitor and evaluate competitive applications and products.
• Review literature, patents, and current practices relevant to projects.
• Collaborate with project stakeholders to identify product and technical requirements.
• Conduct analysis to determine integration needs.
• Work with Quality Assurance to ensure applications meet specifications.
• Guide and mentor junior engineers.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field.
• Five (5) years of experience developing software in the telecommunications domain using Java, Spring, Spring Boot, and Agile methodologies.
• Experience working with Java design patterns, including factory pattern and chain pattern.
• Experience using JUnit for testing.
• Experience using Git for version control.
• At least three (3) years of experience performing application monitoring and logging with ELK and Prometheus.
• Experience deploying applications using Jenkins, Docker, and Concourse.
• Experience with CI/CD deployment tools, including Cloud Foundry and AWS.
• Experience with Azure, WebSec, and SAT for authentication and API security.
• Experience creating plugins with Gradle and Maven.
• Experience enhancing frameworks using AWS S3 and Lambda.
