Engineering Manager - Messaging Platform

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Partner closely with various functions to deliver all outbound messages (email, push, in-app, SMS) for the Netflix consumer product (games, live, streaming).
• Anticipate needs, foster nimbleness, and build a world-class team.
• Help teams build high scale, low latency applications.
• Ensure operational excellence at scale.
• Lead and grow high-performing teams, providing mentorship and guidance.
• Communicate effectively across all levels, from interns to C-suite.
• Support the development of complex architectures and distributed systems.
• Drive technical execution on large cross-functional projects and architectural shifts.
• Maintain a strategic vision supporting the product 6-12 months ahead.

• Engineering mindset with technical curiosity and engagement in technical execution.
