About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Work on the production line to assist with manufacturing pizza products following all production standard procedures, including re-cases, re-packages, and product rework as assigned.
• Follow instructions, including standard manufacturing procedures and processes.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Feed pans and trays to the production line while maintaining the speed of the line.
• Apply shipping labels on the shipper at the determined rate.
• Prepare and maintain materials and equipment at the start, during, and end of production.
• Ensure all production codes and labels are printed accurately and legibly per product specifications.
• Ensure all packaging and materials are correct according to the SKU formula and appearance standards.
• Work in cold temperatures and read codes, changing coder machines when needed.
• At the end of the production day, reseal and return unused materials, turn off and clean coding and taping machines in preparation for the next shift.

Requirements

• Must have a high school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to write simple correspondence and communicate effectively in one-on-one and small group situations.
• Ability to perform basic math operations including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
• Ability to work in and contribute to production improvement teams or other temporary teams.
• Ability to troubleshoot basic problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
• Desire and ability to train other associates.
• Good physical health and ability to manage work in a high-energy environment.
• Ability to regularly lift and move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and move 50 pounds.
