Key Responsibilities

Deliver a strategy for open-source contributions for a senior team of other open-source contributors with a similar but less senior background.
Own overall execution for a sub-group of engineers focusing on open-source.
Drive individual contributions in key projects as needed.

Requirements

Ability to write high quality code with a keen attention to detail.
Track record of engaging with customers and optimizing their workloads at scale.
Contributions to major open-source projects and their ecosystem.
Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
Motivating leader with good interpersonal skills.
Experience hosting developer infrastructure with major Cloud Providers such as AWS, Azure, OCI, OpenShift, or GCP.

Nice to Have

Leadership in existing Open Source Foundations.
Creation of Open Source Foundations.

Qualifications

Experience engaging with customers and optimizing their workloads at scale.
Contributions to major open-source projects and their ecosystem.
