About the Role

Valtech is looking for a Frontend Developer based in Stockholm. The role involves providing technical expertise, understanding client business needs, and collaborating with project teams to design, develop, and deploy frontend solutions. The position requires working on-site with clients in Stockholm and fluency in Swedish. Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy frontend solutions that meet client requirements
Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and methodologies
Actively participate in client meetings, workshops, and presentations to ensure alignment and transparency throughout the project lifecycle
Understand the business needs of clients and communicate how solutions can address their challenges and contribute to their success
Engage in every stage of client engagements, from initial discovery to final delivery
Work closely with local and regional project teams internally at Valtech and alongside clients

Requirements

A relevant technical education or equivalent experience in computer science, software engineering, application development, or frontend development
At least 5 years of experience in frontend development, especially within modern frontend stacks
Proficiency in React, Vue, Next.js or other React frameworks
Knowledge of Javascript, HTML, CSS
Experience with GraphQL and API integrations
Familiarity with agile tools such as Jira and Confluence
Flexibility to work on-site in and around Stockholm multiple times a week
Fluency in Swedish due to client requirements
Proven track record of engaging with stakeholders and adding value to projects
Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG, etc.) to build inclusive and compliant web applications

Nice to Have

Professional working experience from IT consultancy, digital agency, start-up or similar fast-paced environment

Qualifications

Relevant technical education or equivalent experience
At least 5 years of frontend development experience
