About the Role

The Slackforce Channels team at Salesforce is seeking a Staff-level Frontend Engineer to build exceptional web experiences that integrate Slack and Salesforce. The role involves leading the development of features that bring Salesforce records and functionality into Slack, creating a seamless collaboration layer across both platforms. Key Responsibilities

Brainstorm with Product Managers, Designers, Backend, and Frontend Engineers to conceptualize and build new features for a large user base.
Contribute heavily to team projects that have a significant impact on the business.
Own team features or systems and define their long-term health, while also improving surrounding systems.
Assist support and operations teams in triaging and resolving production issues.
Mentor other engineers and conduct thorough code reviews.
Improve engineering standards, tooling, and processes.

Requirements

7+ years of experience writing client-side Typescript, Redux, and React.
Expertise in building complex layouts with CSS and HTML.
Experience building and debugging complex systems in a team environment.
Experience with modern browser technologies.
Strong UX and design sensibilities, and a desire to sweat the small stuff.
Strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and empathy.
Self-awareness and a desire to continually improve.
A related technical degree.

Nice to Have

Experience working on large-scale web applications.
Familiarity with Slack or Salesforce platforms.
Experience mentoring junior engineers.
