About the Role

The Slackforce Channels team is seeking a Staff-level Frontend Engineer with a passion for building exceptional web experiences. We're leading the integration between Slack and Salesforce through Salesforce Channels - the official bridge between the two platforms. Our work brings Salesforce records and functionality directly into Slack, and embeds Slack conversations into the Salesforce UI, creating a seamless collaboration layer across both ecosystems.

Key Responsibilities

Brainstorm with Product Managers, Designers, Backend, and Frontend Engineers on your team to conceptualize and build new features for our large (and growing!) user base
Produce high-quality results by contributing heavily to team projects that have a significant impact on the business
Actively own team features or systems and define their long-term health, while also improving the health of surrounding systems
Assist our skilled support team and operations team in triaging and resolving production issues
Mentor other engineers and deeply review code
Improve engineering standards, tooling, and processes

Requirements

7+ years of experience writing client-side Typescript, Redux and React
Expertise in building complex layouts with CSS and HTML
Experience building and debugging complex systems in a team environment
Experience with modern browser technologies
Strong UX and design sensibilities, and a desire to sweat the small stuff
Strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and empathy
Self-awareness and a desire to continually improve
A related technical degree

Nice to Have

Experience with Slack or Salesforce platforms
Experience in large-scale web application development
Knowledge of integration between different enterprise systems
