Full Stack Developer - Exempt

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Understand the business ask thoroughly before beginning design and development.
• Take initiative and ownership to run tasks through to completion, including analysis and testing.
• Follow and contribute to defined architecture, technology standards, and best practices for applications, middleware, and databases.
• Collaborate with the team and architect to design, prototype, and deliver software solutions.
• Manage the technical environment, including software, data, interfaces, and integration.
• Research new tools and technologies to enhance solutions.
• Participate in code reviews and aid in debugging.
• Contribute directly to the success of project deliverables.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience.
• 7-9 years of experience in software development.
• Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, REST, and NoSQL databases.
• Experience with relational databases such as Oracle.
• Experience with messaging systems like MQ or Kafka is preferred.
• Knowledge of Micro-Services Architecture and scalable, high-resiliency systems is preferred.
• Experience with Angular or React/JavaScript.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies and SDLC tools like Maven, Jenkins, and Git.
• Experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus.

Nice to Have

• Experience with messaging systems like MQ/Kafka.
• Knowledge of Micro-Services Architecture and scalable high-resiliency systems.
• Experience in the securities or financial services industry.
