About the Role

The position is for a Full Stack Developer working remotely or at any location, supporting federal civilian agencies. The role involves developing application components, implementing strategies, evaluating products, and supporting infrastructure to meet the changing needs of government clients. Key Responsibilities

Develop project application components including frontend, backend, and integration services
Ensure compliance with stakeholder coding and security standards
Design and develop codes, testing, and debugging complex new software products
Responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle for software development and the application in production
Provide technical analysis of requirements, development of software, automated testing, builds, deployment, monitoring, and feedback
Assist in supporting all aspects of the project including all phases of the software development lifecycle
Participate as a Subject Matter Expert in internal review of software components and systems
Research, design, develop, and modify enterprise-wide systems and applications
Create models and diagrams to illustrate software code for programmers
Apply advanced knowledge to software updates, refinement, testing, and debugging

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in computer science or relevant field; master's degree or equivalent experience preferred
Comprehensive knowledge of corporate Systems/Solutions Architecture processes and trends
Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
Experience with software development cycles
UI/UX development experience
Experience developing software according to Section 508 compliance
Developing web services working with API, XML, JSON
Development using JavaScript, HTML, CSS, NodeJS, ReactJS, Azure Functions
5-10 years of relevant experience
Experience in full software development life cycle
Experience with cloud-native architecture and development in AWS, GCP, or Azure
Experience developing SQL and stored procedures with SQL Server or other relational databases
Experience working in Agile environments
Experience using MS Visio for updating diagrams
Experience working in Federal or State government environments
Ability to work independently and remotely
Secret clearance to start

Nice to Have

Experience with cloud-native architecture and development in AWS, GCP, or Azure
UI/UX development experience
Experience developing software according to Section 508 compliance

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer science or relevant field
Master's degree or equivalent professional experience preferred
